In addition to its stellar rotating tap list, the Groveland Tap menu features every classic Midwest food item you could ask for, from cheese curds and fried pickles to tater totes and bavarian pretzels.

Don't forget to check out the arcade and pool table in the back.

Note: The Groveland Tap is currently closed for renovations, but is expected to reopen this fall.

Pat's Tap — Minneapolis (Nicollet Ave. and 35th Street)

Pat's Tap is a neighborhood bar that offers a rare combination of easygoing vibes and amazing food and drink. Think Wisconsin bar food, but turned up a notch.

If you're there for brunch, check out the bloody mary sandwich. For dinner, sample the seared halloumi burger.

After eating, you can let the food settle while beating your friends on the retro skeeball machines.

Volstead House — Eagan (Lone Oak Road and Eagandale Place)

Volstead House is not your typical neighborhood bar, which is why you need to check it out. Named after the Prohibition-era Volstead Act, this 1920s, speakeasy-themed bar offers unbelievable cocktails and great food.

You won't find a better old-fashioned anywhere in the state. Just know you'll have to through another restaurant in order to enter.
