At long last, the Lyndale Avenue bridge over Minnehaha Creek looks set to reopen on schedule.
That's the word from the Nicollet-East Harriet Business Association, who has been monitoring progress on the bridge and the concurrent reconstruction of Lyndale Avenue since . As the group wrote on its LyndaleReconstruction.com website on Wednesday:
(Workers) still have work to do on the manholes and sidewalks (including preparing the tree grates, preparing the medians, lighting etc.) so there will be a lot of movement of cones but access to businesses will be maintained throughout the changes and should actually be better as we move forward.
