Metro Transit Adjusts Schedules, Routes In Twin Cities Region

TWIN CITIES, MN — Metro Transit made make changes Saturday to almost three dozen routes throughout the Twin Cities region during its quarterly update.

The transit service said the updates, scheduled to take effect March 26, are based on its analysis of ridership trends and resources.

Riders on most of the updated routes will see slight changes to their usual schedules, with buses due to arrive several minutes earlier or later than they have under previous schedules “to better reflect actual travel times,” Metro Transit said.

Service on some routes will be decreased or eliminated, while others — including the southbound Orange Line — will see increased service, according to Metro Transit’s plans.

Updates are due to affect the Orange Line and C Line, as well as routes 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 23, 27, 32, 62, 64, 67, 74, 75, 83, 94, 113, 114, 115, 219, 270, 353, 363, 515, 537, 721, 764, 805, 850 and 852.
