TWIN CITIES, MN — Due to the extremely icy conditions across the region Wednesday morning, Metro Transit has pulled their buses off of all Twin Cities roads.

Several school districts across the metro have also delayed classes for two hours or more.

The Minnesota State Patrol has already responded to dozens of crashes Wednesday morning. Between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, troopers responded to 120 crashes, including 10 with injury.

"And it's not just driving that will be treacherous," the National Weather Service said. "Do you normally walk the dog in the morning or head out for a quick run? Make sure you have extra grip on your shoes as sidewalks are very icy and hazardous as well!"
