Minnesota Twins 2022 Home Opener: Here's What To Know

Thanks to the signing of two All-Stars, Minnesota Twins fans have more reasons to be optimistic heading into the 2022 season.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins will take on the Seattle Mariners in their home opener set for Friday afternoon. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday but was moved due to the rainy and snowy forecast.

Despite high expectations going into the 2021 season, the Twins finished at the bottom of the American League Central with a dismal record of 73 and 89.

Thanks to the signing of two All-Stars, shortstop Carlos Correa and pitcher Sonny Gray, the Twins' Vegas over/under win total moved up to 82.5. according to SportsLine.
