Minnesota Vikings Extend QB Kirk Cousins
The news of Cousins' extension came on the same day that Tom Brady announced he will come out of retirement to play next season.
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings and their starting quarterback, Kirk Cousins, have reportedly agreed to a one-year, fully-guaranteed $35 million contract extension.
Armed with a no-trade clause, Cousins is now under contract through March 2023, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. He will make $40 million in 2022 and $30 million in 2023, ESPN's Adam Schefter notes.
