School Bus-SUV Crash: 22 Children Uninjured, Isuzu Driver Killed

MINNETONKA, MN — A 57-year-old man from Burnsville was killed in Minnetonka when his car collided with a school bus during Monday's snowstorm. The crash happened on Highway 62.

The road conditions were snowy and icy, officials said.

Just before 4 p.m., a 2019 Freightliner school bus and Isuzu Rodeo were both going eastbound on Highway 62 at Shady Oak Road.
The Isuzu lost control and struck the concrete wall and then collided with the school bus, according to authorities.

Both vehicles came to rest in the center median of the highway, investigators said.
The identity of the Isuzu driver will be released Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
