MINNESOTA — Fourth of July is nearly here and so are the fireworks, the apex of the day's festivities where families and friends come together to marvel at the bright displays. Whether you prefer to be where the action is on Independence Day or watch from home, Patch has you covered with a roundup of all the fireworks events in the Twin Cities area. And if you prefer to skip the fireworks altogether, that's fine too.
This year, the Fourth of July holiday falls on a Tuesday. What time the day's celebrations kick off is up to you, but fireworks displays will begin after sunset. If you plan to attend one of the fireworks events listed below, it makes sense to get to the location early so you can secure a good spot before the crowds settle in.
