Twins Win In Hilarious, Slightly Embarrassing Walk-Off Against Tigers
A win is a win, right? The Minnesota Twins are now 9-8 and lead the American League Central Division.

MINNEAPOLIS — Down one run in the bottom of the ninth inning, Minnesota Twins slugger Miguel Sano committed a head-scratching blunder that, in a matter of seconds, somehow led his team to a walk-off victory against the Detroit Tigers.
With two men on base, Sano hit an easily catchable line drive to deep right-center. But former Twins fielder Robbie Grossman failed to corral it. The ball tipped off of his glove before bouncing into the back wall.
And that's when the fun began.

Twins' baserunner Trevor Larnach was held at third, while runner Gio Urshela was safely at second. But for some reason, Sano decided to run to the second base anyway, forcing Urshela off. The strange turn of events essentially gifted a double play to the Tigers.
But the Tigers gave it right back when their catcher overthrew his own third baseman, freeing up two Twins to run home and win the game.
