The Minnesota Vikings are headed to the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2019.

MINNEAPOLIS - Head coach Kevin O'Connell and his 13-4 Minnesota Vikings will host the New York Giants at U.S. Bank Stadium in the wildcard round of the 2023 NFL playoffs.
The Vikings clinched the NFL North division title for the first time since the 2017-2018 season. They are the third seed in the NFC.
The Giants finished the season 9-6-1 and secured the sixth seed in the NCF side of the playoff bracket.

The Vikings will play the Giants on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Minneapolis.

The Vikings were previously in the playoffs in 2019 as a wildcard team, when they lost to the 49ers in the divisional round. Mike Zimmer was the head coach at the time.
The Vikings will be the only team from their division to make the playoffs this year. The Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football and eliminated Aaron Rodgers' team from postseason play.
