Lane Closures On I-35E/35W Will Impact Forest Lake This Weekend
Authorities ask that drivers slow down in work zones, where workers are present.
FOREST LAKE, MN — Drivers should expect lane closures on northbound Interstates 35/35E/35W this weekend in Forest Lake. The closures will allow crews to complete a concrete repair project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Starting on Saturday at 5 a.m., northbound I-35E and northbound I-35W will each be reduced to one lane south of the I-35E/I-35W split, transit officials said.
At the same time, northbound I-35 will be reduced to two lanes, starting from the I-35E/I-35W split and going up about one-quarter mile north.
