Repair Work Closes Stillwater Lift Bridge Wednesday
The lift bridge is set to reopen around noon Wednesday after closing for several hours in the morning.
STILLWATER, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation closed the Stillwater Lift Bridge on Wednesday morning while crews completed repairs.
The lift bridge is due to reopen around noon Wednesday after closing at 8:30 a.m. to cyclists, pedestrians and water traffic, the department said in a news release.

The Stillwater Lift Bridge was converted in June 2020 into a crossing for bicyclists and pedestrians. It connects Sam Bloomer Way in Stillwater to the St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trail in St. Joseph, Wisconsin.
