Stillwater Lift Bridge Will Close Tuesday
During the closure, all boats taller than nine feet will be unable to pass under the bridge, officials said.

STILLWATER, MN — The Stillwater Lift Bridge is scheduled to be closed from 6 a.m. Tuesday, July through 6 p.m. Thursday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The closure will take place so that crews can replace an electrical cable that powers the bridge’s lift span.
During the closure, all boats taller than nine feet will be unable to pass under the bridge, officials said.

Since June 2021, the lift bridge has been permanently closed to vehicle traffic and operates as a path for pedestrians and bikers between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Cars can use the new St. Croix Crossing bridge in Oak Park Heights.
