Stillwater's Oak-Land Junior High Tests New Security System

Raptor Technologies and the Stillwater School District have teamed up to create a new point of entry system in the junior high. So far, it's working.

One of the nation's top "visitor management" system provider and the Stillwater School District have teamed up with a new, check-in system to keep Oak-Land Junior High School students safer.

A quick swipe of an identification card, usually a driver's license, runs a pair of background checks on any visitor to the school within seconds. Stillwater teams with School Check IN, a technology and security company that specializes in large, educational buildings.

A comparable system was profiled recently on Twin Cities ABC affiliate KSTP. Watch the video for the complete story.
