Teachers in the Stillwater Area Public Schools system made an average of $79,524 in 2021, the 15th highest average salary among Minnesota districts, according to data from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.

The average teacher salary in the St. Paul Public School District was $85,457 — the sixth highest in the state — while the Minneapolis Public School District ranked 47th, with an average teacher salary of $71,535, the licensing board's data show.

Stillwater High Teacher Josiah Hill Running For MN House Seat

St. Croix Preparatory Academy in Stillwater ranked 442nd, with an average salary of $48,661, while the New Heights charter school ranked 457th, with an average salary of $47,474, according to the board's data.

The state's lowest average teacher salary in 2021 was $18,194 at the Infinity: Minnesota Digital Academy, the data show.
