Two 10-Year-Olds Killed In East Metro ATV Crash

AFTON, MN — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two 10-year-olds were killed in an ATV crash.

Just after 5:00 p.m., deputies and first responders were called to the 1000 block of Neal Avenue South in Afton for two juveniles trapped under an ATV.

First responders attempted lifesaving efforts, however, both kids were pronounced dead at the scene.

The kids' families have been notified, authorities said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
