When Is Santa Claus Coming To Stillwater?

Get ready, because Santa Claus is coming to Stillwater! This holiday season, the man in red is spreading holiday joy all over town. So get those wishlists ready, be on your best behavior (Santa knows if you've been bad or good!) and mark your calendar. Here's when and where you can catch Santa in the Stillwater area this year!

Twinkle Weekend and City Tree Lighting

When: Friday, Dec. 1 - Sunday, Dec. 3
Where: Downtown Stillwater, 100 Main St., Stillwater, MN 55082
What: Downtown Stillwater is kicking off the holiday season with a free festive weekend event, beginning on Friday with Victorian Carolers and dazzling holiday lights. Saturday features the Twinkle Party and the official lighting of the city’s Christmas tree, complete with a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. North Pole Express

When: Friday, Dec. 1 - Sunday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 7 - Sunday, Dec. 10
Where: St. Paul Union Depot, 214 4th St. E, Saint Paul, MN 55101
What: Take a quick trip to Saint Paul for a magical train ride! Enjoy a trip to the North Pole in a vintage railcar, with a visit from Santa and plenty of festive activities. In addition to the North Pole Express ride, kids will also have an opportunity to write to Saint Nick and enjoy a holiday treat at the end of the ride. Click here for more info.

Santa’s Wonderland at Cabela’s

When: Sunday, Nov. 5 - Sunday, Dec. 24
Where: Cabela’s, 8400 Hudson Rd., Woodbury, MN 55125
What: Immerse yourself in the magic of Santa’s Wonderland at Cabela’s, just a short drive from Woodbury! In addition to getting a free picture with Santa himself (reservations required), guests can mail their letters to the North Pole and stop by the Christmas toy shop. Click here for more info.

Hometown for the Holidays

When: Friday, Nov. 24 - Monday, Dec. 25
Where: Downtown Stillwater, 100 Main St., Stillwater, MN 55082
What: All season long, the streets of Downtown Stillwater transform into a festive Christmas Village with plenty of festive events for the whole family. Though the full schedule of events is still underway — keep an eye on the Discover Stillwater website for updates! — you can expect plenty of opportunities to see Santa in person. Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at the Water Street Inn on Dec. 2, visit Santa and his reindeer on Dec. 10 and come paint with Santa at Kari’s Create & Paint Studio on Dec. 9 and 16.
