Many home improvement and hardware stores in and around St. Louis Park know this, as nearly all will be open for either regular or extended hours during the end-of-summer three-day weekend.

Home Depot stores will be open, encouraging homeowners to take on backyard projects before temperatures start dropping. The Atlanta-based national home improvement store chain has sales posted on its website, and offers tips on starting do-it-yourself fall projects. (Summer doesn’t actually end until Sept. 22).
The stores will be open for regular hours on Labor Day, according to OpenClosehrs.com.

Lowe’s home improvement stores also have Labor Day savings and deals posted online. They, too, will be open for regular hours, according to TheHolidaySchedule.com.

Ace Hardware and Do It Best stores are among the other hardware chains staying open for Labor Day, according to TheHolidaySchedule.com.

Menards stores will generally stay open for Labor Day, although some may have reduced hours, according to StoreHolidayHours.org.
