Long Haul Trucking of Albertville Gives Away New Peterbilt Via Reality Show
The locally-based trucking group took its shot at reality-based television and video back in 2012. The result is a pretty sweet ride for one of their top drivers.
In an effort to bring people into the lives of everyday truck drivers, Long Haul Trucking of Albertville created a 90-minute video based on the lives of five of their top drivers.
"King of the Road" will remind viewers of reality television - perhaps a mix of "Ice Road Truckers" (without the dangerous conditions) and "The Amazing Race" (without the partners or international travel) as the five compete for the ultimate grand prize - a new rig.
The video was produced about 18 months ago, and has received about a quarter of a million views on YouTube. DVD's of the contest can be ordered via producers.
