1st Major Snowstorm Of Winter Hits Woodbury: Photos

WOODBURY, MN — After a storm dropped more than a foot and a half of snow on Woodbury on Friday, residents in the city spent much of the weekend cleaning up, playing and enjoying the weather.

The 20 inches of snowfall reported in Woodbury was the second-highest total across Minnesota over the weekend. The NWS said 21 inches of snow fell in east St. Paul.

The storm prompted a snow day at South Washington County Schools, with the district canceling classes Friday due to the impending snow. A Hmong New Year celebration at Woodbury High School was also canceled Friday.
