2 Washington County Schools Still On Coronavirus Outbreak List

The list of schools with recent outbreaks is updated every Thursday by the Minnesota Department of Health.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— Two schools in Washington County are still on the list of schools with recent COVID-19 outbreaks, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday.

In order to be removed from the list, the school must go 28 days without reporting a new case.

These schools all reported at least five cases of COVID-19 within the last 28 days:

  • Forest Lake Area High School in Forest Lake
  • Oneka Elementary School in Hugo

In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

Six schools in Dakota County were also on the list, the department said.
