3 Woodbury Schools Named On MN’S COVID-19 Outbreak List

WOOBURY, MN — Three Woodbury schools were named Thursday on the Minnesota Department of Health’s weekly list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks. That’s the lowest that number has been in more than two months.

Woodbury Middle School joined Woodbury High School and East Ridge High School on this week’s list. Both high schools have been on the list for many weeks.

SoWashCo Drops Mask Mandate At High Schools

Liberty Ridge Elementary, Lake Middle School, Saint Ambrose Catholic School and Woodbury Leadership Academy were included on last week’s list but were removed Thursday.

The COVID-19 data dashboard for South Washington County Schools shows there have been 3,771 total coronavirus cases within the district since the start of the 2021-22 school year. More than 47 percent of those cases have been recorded since Jan. 7, the dashboard shows.

Just nine Washington County schools were included on the Minnesota Department of Health’s most recent outbreak list, down from 26 schools last week.

The total number of Minnesota schools on the outbreak list dropped from 468 last week to 249 on Thursday.
