From Washington County: The County Road 21/Stagecoach Trail South bridge over Valley Creek in Afton will be replaced this summer, and the Washington County Public Works Department expects Stagecoach Trail South at the Valley Creek Bridge to be closed to traffic from June 17 until Sept. 3. Detour signs will be posted and direct drivers to use St. Croix Trail South (County Road 18). The new bridge will be similar in length with slightly wider shoulders.
