The 3M Foundation has made a $500 donation to the Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF), in recognition of the commitment and outstanding service of two Board members: Michael Barrett and Richard Hanson.
Michael Barrett, 3M Retiree, has provided more than 40 hours in the past year to the WCF as a Board Member. As a volunteer Director, Mike has devoted most of his energies to ensuring a solid future for the WCF as well looking into new ideas for serving in the community.

Richard Hanson, 3M/3M Foundation Retiree, has donated more than 100 hours in the past year to the WCF as a volunteer Board Director. His focus has been on the plans for growing and developing the WCF. Dick has spent a significant amount of his time helping envision the future of the organization while building upon past successes.
“3M employees and retirees generously give their time and skills to help improve lives,” said Kimberly Price, vice-president, 3M Community Affairs. “We are pleased to recognize their commitment to their communities.”

As part of the 3M Volunteer Match, the 3M Foundation will donate $250 to eligible nonprofit organizations for which a 3M employee volunteers 20 hours or a 3M retiree volunteers 25 hours or more per calendar year. Since 2000, Volunteer Matches totaling over $4.5 million have gone to over 2,700 schools or non-profit organizations in 50 states plus the District of Columbia.
