'Angel Fund' at Woodbury's Liberty Ridge Elementary

Note from Liberty Ridge Elementary:

Hello Parents of Liberty Ridge:

As you know, these economic times are difficult for some families. Occasionally, we have students coming to lunch who have zero or negative balances in their lunch accounts. At a $5 balance, we start notifying parents that their children’s accounts need more money, but sometimes a few accounts go to the maximum negative $5 balance.

When this happens, we give the student a lunch, but use a donated “Angel Fund” to cover the cost of their lunch.

Our Nutrition Services Department has offered us an incentive by matching whatever donations we receive to the Angel Fund. If you would like to give to this fund, it would be greatly appreciated. We can accept checks made payable to ISD 833 or cash. Please send your donation directly to Liberty Ridge in an envelope marked "Angel Fund/Kitchen."
