County to Conduct Residential Survey in 2013

The Washington County Board of Commissioners approved a joint powers agreement Nov. 20 that allows the county to work with Dakota, Olmsted and St. Louis counties conduct a residential survey in 2013.

Washington County has periodically surveyed its residents to gather information about the services it provides. Washington County worked with a number of Minnesota counties in 2008 on a residential survey and is proposing to do so again in 2013.

Washington, Dakota, Olmsted, and St. Louis counties have agreed to work with National Resource Center, Inc., on the project. The collaboration provides cost savings and the ability to compare Washington County with counties both nationally and with the partners in Minnesota.Β
