From East Ridge High School
East Ridge High School values the recognition of student accomplishments. Learning and developing new skills and talents are joyful accomplishments that deserve celebration. Whether through a positive affirmation from a faculty member or through more formal forms of recognition, the East Ridge High School community fosters self-esteem through encouragement and recognition of a job well done. As a result, East Ridge seeks to praise its students in a variety of fashions throughout the year.
This is done in many ways, including: awarding of a “Letter” for academic accomplishment, “A” and “B” honor roll, Student of the Term, exemplary attendance, significant academic improvement, and notification of student excellence via "Good News" cards. East Ridge students are recognized in our community for outstanding effort, contribution and achievement across the curriculum.
