
Mortgage foreclosure prevention workshops conducted by the Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) will continue 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at the R.H. Stafford Library in Woodbury.
The library is at 8595 Central Park Place.
The workshops are offered to anyone who wants to ask questions and get advice from trained foreclosure prevention counselors.

Anyone who is behind on their mortgage, anyone who is worried about keeping up with mortgage payments, and anyone who wants to know more about the foreclosure process may attend. Those who are worried about foreclosure should seek help immediately. Waiting may limit the options.
The workshops are open houses - no pre-registration is required. The workshop will include a 45-minute presentation summarizing the foreclosure process. Participants will also have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a foreclosure prevention counselor.

It will help the counselor to respond to any concerns participants bring the following:
- any communication received from a lender or loan servicer;
- proof of income (e.g., recent pay stub); and
- a copy of a mortgage statement.
