'Garden Talk & Tea' Series in Afton

Squire House Gardens in Afton, MN, announces they will host a series of Saturday afternoon gardening presentations during January and February.

The Winter Weekend Garden Talk and Tea series will feature lively and informative discussions moderated by renown landscape artist and shop owner, Martin Stern.

Complimentary English tea and treats will be served. The first event will be held Saturday, January 12 at 1 p.m. 

Entitled NOURISHING THE SPIRIT, the afternoon will feature a slide show, discussion and complimentary English tea.

“More than the abundance of beauty, flowers and vegetables produced, the garden and gardening provide unseen benefits. Healing and comfort, release of stress and worry, and an awe of the natural world are a few of the unspoken aspects of gardening sometimes experienced. Renown landscape artist Martin Stern will share his beautiful slide images and lead a discussion on this topic.”
