Lots in Cottage Grove and Woodbury will be sold at a tax-forfeited auction Dec. 12, after the Washington County Board of Commissioners approved the sale Nov. 13.
State law requires that counties manage the sale of tax-forfeited land, on behalf of the state.
The parcels were forfeited to the state for nonpayment of property taxes. All parcels included in the list for public auction were released by the city in which they are located for public sale.
