Nonprofit/Service Groups Sought for Ice Cream Social, Talent Show at Historic Courthouse

The Washington County Historic Courthouse is accepting applications from non-profit groups and service organizations for the 11th annual “Ice Cream Social and Amateur Talent Show” set for 4:30 p.m. to dusk Wednesday, July 17.
The ice cream social is a popular summer event for local residents.

The Historic Courthouse is seeking groups to sell food and beverages and/or provide children’s or family-friendly activities. A valid food license is required for all food and beverage sales. A $25 application fee is required. The courthouse sells root beer floats, penny candy, frozen ice cream novelties, pop and water. The event includes a petting zoo, amateur talent show, children’s activities, and more.
