Smoke in Woodbury Likely a Controlled Burn

From the Woodbury Public Safety Department's Facebook page on Tuesday, May 7:

Seeing Smoke? Applied Ecological Services is currently conducting a prescribed/controlled burn at the 4000 Block of Woodbury Drive (near the intersection of Woodbury Drive and Bailey Rd) smoke may be visible until approximately 4:30 today.

Reminder: Effective April 21, the DNR placed a ban on BRUSH fires (these are fires up to 6 feet in diameter and 6 feet high). The recreational fires were NOT affected by this ban; recreational fires are a maximum of 3 feet in diameter and 3 feet high, and only burning natural wood (not leaves, brush, other yard waste).
