The Festival, sponsored by the Suburban East Athletic Conference, has two parts. During the day, individual schools’ bands, choirs, and orchestras will present concerts. Groups from Hastings, Roseville, White Bear Lake, Park, Forest Lake, Mounds View, Stillwater, East Ridge, Cretin-Derham Hall, and Woodbury High School will perform.

When students are not performing they are encouraged to listen to the groups from other schools experiencing what is happening in one another’s music programs. Clinicians will be working with each performing ensemble as well.

The second and concluding portion of the Festival is the Grand Finale Concert presented by the three All-Conference performing ensembles. The composite Orchestra, Band, and Choir groups will begin their concert at 7:15 p.m.

The traditional finale is a joint performance featuring the All-Conference Choir, All Conference Orchestra and the All Conference Band in a dramatic arrangement of “America the Beautiful.”

The community is invited to attend the daytime and evening performances. Daytime events are free, and the Finale Concert admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students. East Ridge High School will be out of session on that day, as 1,500 visiting musicians will fill the school.
