Washington County plans to launch a website upgrade Nov. 28, and the County Board received a preview at a workshop Nov. 27.
The website, which continues to have the same web address as the former site, www.co.washington.mn.us, is designed to provide more information to county residents, in a manner that can be accessed more readily than on its former website.
It is also hoped that residents will be able to do more county business online in the future, saving them telephone calls and trips to county offices.
