Woodbury High School Students Named Scholars of Distinction

Forty-two distinguished Minnesota high school students will be honored Saturday at the Scholars of Distinction award program in the areas of Science, STEM, Mathematics, Social Studies, Leadership and Theater Arts.

What: Minnesota Scholars of Distinction 2013 Awards Ceremony

When: Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:30 pm

Where: Performance Hall, Perpich Center for Arts Education, 6125 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN 55422

Deputy Commissioner Jessie Montano will be on hand for the ceremony at the Perpich Center for Arts Education to congratulate the scholars.

To earn recognition, a student must complete required work in Minnesota’s academic standards, demonstrate mastery of complex subject matter, and apply their knowledge and skills on challenging projects.
