Woodbury Outlines Work at Ojibway Park

From the city of Woodbury:

On Tuesday, May 28, Koch Pipeline will begin standard maintenance on an existing 16-inch crude oil pipeline buried in the far east end of Ojibway Park, just beyond the left field fence of Field No. 5.

The work requires excavation about 20 feet wide by 45 feet long. It will impact the paved trail and the fencing by the ball field, as a section of fencing will need to be removed to allow for digging.

Residents should stay off the trail in this area during construction, which is expected to last approximately four days. "Trail closed" signs will be posted and safety fencing will be installed. Koch Pipeline also will be providing overnight security at the site, beginning the evening of May 28.

Construction will not impact scheduled activities on the ball fields in the area.

This is the first of three maintenance excavations Koch Pipeline will be conducting in Ojibway Park in the coming weeks. The other two projects are located in the north end of the park, near the Kings Drive intersection with Courtly Road. Pavement restoration of all impacted trails will take place at the same time, after all maintenance activities are completed.
