Eagle Brook Church plans to build a 75,000-square-foot two-story facility consisting of a 1,500-seat worship center, community and gathering space, and children's worship and education space.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 3, crews will begin drilling rock and blasting at Brookview Road east of Settlers Ridge Parkway, part of a street project associated with Eagle Brook Churchβs new facility.
Blasting and drilling will be loud and create minor ground vibration, according to a release from the city.

βThe contractor, SX Blasting, uses safe blasting practices and designs its blasts to minimize disruption for surrounding residents, businesses and schools,β reads part of the release. βSX Blasting also uses a seismograph to measure and monitor the ground vibration on every blast to ensure each blast falls within the allowable levels designated by the federal government.β
As part of the Eagle Brook Church improvements, Brookview Road will be reconstructed from Settlers Ridge Parkway to one-quarter mile east.
The work will also necessitate a four- to six-week road closure between Settlers Ridge Parkway and Crestbury Drive. During the closure, traffic along Brookview Road will be re-routed east to Manning Avenue.
Questions about the blasting should be directed to Richard Boening, SX Blasting, at 262-252-3200 or dboening@sxblasting.com.
