The East Metro Tea Party will host an event called "Exposing the I.R.S." from 6-9 pm
at the Machine Shed in Lake Elmo.
The purpose of the event is to inform
people about the current scandal in Washington regarding the I.R.S.'
targeting of Tea Party groups.
Special guest speaker for the evening is
Cindy Maves, Rochester Tea Party Patriots, who will share her experience
of being targeted by the I.R.S. Also, there will be a brief educational
segment on how the U.S. tax system works and the Constitutionality of
an income tax by expert David Benner.
The political entertainment is "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire...Before Taxes", based off the popular game show. This event is free to the public and the press is welcome to attend.
Date is Tuesday, June 4th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Location is the Machine Shed, 8515 Hudson Blvd, Lake Elmo, MN. A
special dinner buffet is available for purchase and waitstaff will be on
hand to take drink orders.
