Squire House Gardens is pleased to announce its annual Spring Art Show, set for March 9-22, 2013.
“This year’s Art Show features exceptional local painters exploring and revealing their personal and sensitive vision of our Minnesota landscape, our beloved gardens and the creatures with whom we share this land,” said Martin Stern, owner of Squire House Gardens.
The paintings, which include pieces both large and small at affordable prices, will be displayed at Squire House Gardens, located, at 3390 St. Croix Trail So, in historic Afton, MN. Participating artists include:

James Wilcox, Dimmers – considered one of the foremost painters of the St. Croix River Valley, showcasing recent works in acrylic
Richard Meacock – Landscapes that highlight color and light, oil

Catherine Hearding – watercolor landscapes and still life
Susan Steging Cook – Contemporary realist compositions, fine oils
Saturday, March 9 from 5-8 p.m. the public is invited to attend an artists’ reception, featuring complimentary wine and dessert and the opportunity to meet the artists.
