Fire Damages Church In Woodbury; No Injuries Reported
A 6-year-old girl and her father ran to the church and warned more than a dozen people inside, who safely escaped, according to reports.
WOODBURY, MN — The Grove United Methodist Church in Woodbury was damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon, according to reports.
Woodbury and Cottage Grove firefighters were called around 2:35 p.m. after Angelo Mancini was alerted by his 6-year-old daughter, who saw smoke coming from the roof of a building connected to the church, Fox 9 reports.

Rev. Dan Wetterstrom, the church’s pastor, told the Star Tribune that flames appeared to have started near solar panels on the roof, but the cause of the fire has not yet been determined by officials.
