Hudson Shooting: Woman in Critical Condition
Charges are expected Tuesday in shooting that happened in the parking lot of Spirit Seller Liquors.

Updated (1:45 p.m. Monday):Β The one victim still hospitalized afterΒ Sunday's shooting in Hudson isΒ in critical condition at Regions Hospital, according to media reports.Β Fartun Ibrahim Aidid, 28, of Hopkins,Β is on life support, Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen told theΒ St. Paul Pioneer Press.Β She was shot in the abdomen, theΒ Star TribuneΒ reported.Β
Updated (10:50 a.m. Monday):Β The Hudson Police Department has releasedΒ the names of the three people who were shot Sunday morningΒ outsideΒ Spirit SellerΒ LiquorsΒ in downtown Hudson. The police statement also said charges against two men arrested in Bloomington will be filed Tuesday morning.Β Β
Update (9 a.m. Monday):Β One of the three victims of aΒ Sunday morning shooting in downtown HudsonΒ talked toΒ the St. Paul Pioneer PressΒ briefly at Regions HospitalΒ in St. Paul.Β He said he'd been shot in theΒ shoulderΒ and a second man had been released from the hospital. A third victim's family told the newspaper she was in surgery.Β
Update (11 p.m. Sunday):Β "That doesn't usually happen in Hudson," said one localΒ interviewed by Fox 9Β Sunday after aΒ shooting in the parking lotΒ outsideΒ Spirit SellerΒ LiquorsΒ in downtown Hudson that sent people to the hospital.Β
Hudson Police Chief Marty JensenΒ told Fox 9Β itΒ appears those involved in the shooting may have beenΒ Minnesotans coming to Hudson to buy liquor, since liquor isn't sold in Minnesota on Sundays.Β

Update (6:25 p.m. Sunday):Β Hudson police detectives are interviewing the three hospitalized victims of a shooting Sunday morning outsideΒ Spirit SellerΒ LiquorsΒ in downtown Hudson.Β
The Hudson Police Department has the suspects' car and other evidence gathered afterΒ Eagan police tracked the suspects to Bloomington hotel. Two men remain in custody in Minnesota at the HPD's request.Β

Update (4:45 p.m. Sunday):Β The suspects in Sunday morning shooting in Hudson were caught after an Eagan police officer posted along I-494Β saw a tan CadillacΒ matching a witness description,Β according to Eagan Patch.Β
Bloomington and Eagan police worked together to take two men into custody outside a Bloomington hotel, Eagan police told Patch.Β
Update (4:15 p.m. Sunday):Β The Hudson shooting that left three injured Sunday morning started with a dispute between people in two vehiclesΒ atΒ Freedom ValuΒ Center, according to a witness, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.Β
The witnessΒ said the dispute then moved across the street toΒ theΒ Spirit SellerΒ LiquorsΒ parking lot, the store owner told the newspaper.Β

Update (1:45 p.m. Sunday):Β Two men and a woman are hospitalized in unknown conditionΒ after a shooting outsideΒ Spirit SellerΒ LiquorsΒ in Hudson Sunday morning,Β according to WCCO.Β
One of the injured men was able to walk after the shooting, the second man had suffered a wound to the chest, and the woman's had been shot in the abdomen, police told theΒ St. Paul Pioneer Press. All were taken toΒ Regions Hospital, where one was in surgery,Β KAAL reported.Β
Police have arrested two men in Bloomington in connection with the shooting, according toΒ Fox 9, after Eagan police followed a tan Cadillac matching a witness description to a hotel parking lot.Β
Several reports, citing police,Β said the shooting may have arisen from a dispute between people in two cars, and thatΒ some or all of those involved are from Minnesota andΒ may have been in Hudson to buy alcohol, which can't be soldΒ in Minnesota on Sundays.Β

It's the first shooting in Hudson since 2007, according to WCCO.Β
