WHITE BEAR LAKE, MN — A 3-month-old boy from White Bear Lake died in March from being violently shaken, according to a court filing.
Jackson Dallas Forster died March 22 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital as a result of "complications of bilateral subdural hemorrhages," the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The infant's death was ruled a homicide.

Charges have not been filed, but the case is under investigation.
Jackson was hospitalized at 7 weeks because he was "experiencing seizure-like activity," including vomiting and twitching, according to a child protection court filing reviewed by the Star Tribune.

Jackson's father told medical professionals that he "dropped or did something" to the boy the night before, the petition states.
"I was not in the right frame of mind," the petition further quotes the father.
The father told police that he had been drinking alcohol heavily and smoking marijuana the night before the child was hospitalized, according to the court filing.
Medical staff reported to Ramsey County authorities that the infant's injuries were a result of severe shaking.
