
A St. Paul man was sentenced to 10 years of probation following his conviction for dealing cocaine in Woodbury in August 2012.
Veasna Phan, 31, was arrested Aug. 15, 2012, after the Washington County Narcotics Task for broke up a drug deal near the SuperAmerica on Lake Road Terrace.
Phan and the buyer initially agreed to meet at the gas station, but Phan thought it was βtoo hotβ and demanded the buyer go into a liquor and purchase a 12-pack of Corona, according to the complaint.

The two later did the deal for $385βthe cost of the cocaine minus the cost of the beer. The drugs, with a packaged weight of 4.6 grams, later tested positive for cocaine.

The arrest was part of a βroutine investigation,β an official with the Washington County Sheriffβs Office told Patch at the time.
