MAPLEWOOD, MN — Another Perkins restaurant that’s called the Twin Cities metro home for decades recently closed in Maplewood, according to a report.

The Maplewood Perkins served its last meals Sunday after owner Deb Pedro sold the business to Unison Restaurant and Banquet, which operates next door, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports.

Pedro, who has owned the Maplewood Perkins for the last 20 years, told the Twin Cities Pioneer Press that she wasn’t ready to sign on for another five years with Perkins, with her franchise agreement due to expire in September.
