Miracle Treat Day 2013 at Woodbury Dairy Queen
The goal this year is to raise $13,000, according to Scott Bolles, owner of the Woodbury DQ.

Miracle Treat Day, which supports Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, is set for Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Woodbury Dairy Queen.
One hundred percent of the money raised goes directly to the area hospital.
The goal this year is to raise $13,000, according to Scott Bolles, owner of the Woodbury DQ.
“This year we have collected over $1,600 in spare change from customers, and our crew has taken it upon themselves to sell Miracle Balloons to customers and have done a great job so far raising more than $3,000,” Bolles told patch.

Bolles said in an email: “As many of you know, we have our hands full in the evening most nights so encouraging people to come in the afternoon would help maximize our donation. (Although the 'Star Wars Guys' will be out that night to help direct traffic.)”
Owners will also be matching the first $500 in spare change and donations at the registers or drive thru.
International Dairy Queen is also donating a dollar for every person who joins "DQ Miracle Treat Day" on Facebook.
