The anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks is less than a week away, and Paul Rode is once again planning a 24-hour flag waving on the Stagecoach Trail overpass on Interstate 94.
Rode was so moved by the events of Sept. 11, 2001, that he went out, bought an American flag and began waving it on a freeway overpassβand has done it every year since.
