Resident Upset Over Landscaping in Woodbury Roadwork Project

Jerry Dabe spoke during the open forum portion of a recent Woodbury City Council meeting.

The landscape work done in conjunction with last year’s roadwork project in the Windwood neighborhood isn’t up to snuff, according to Woodbury resident Jerry Dabe.

He spoke during open forum portion of the May 22 Woodbury City Council meeting.

Dabe said he was misinformed about the timing of different phases of the project, and the landscaping work was “such a fiasco.”

“To be honest, it’s embarrassing how bad they did here,” he said.

The sodding wasn’t done properly and there hasn’t been enough oversight from the city on the project, Dabe said, adding that sod on his lot wasn’t put in until last November.

He encouraged city officials to drive through the area to see the condition of the landscaping.

“You’d be surprised what a poor job it is,” Dabe said.
