SoWashCo Names Principal For New Online School

SoWashCo Online — due to launch in the fall — will serve students in grades K-5 and 9-12, according to the district.

WOODBURY, MN — South Washington Alternative High School Principal Nick Falde will lead the district’s new virtual school when it launches in the fall of 2022, officials announced last week.

SoWashCo Online will provide full-time instruction for grades K-5 and 9-12, as well as part-time instruction for grades 9-12, according to the district.

Falde “brings extensive experience in setting up students for academic success” from his time leading the district’s Alternative High School and as a coordinator for a digital learning academy in the Mahtomedi Public Schools district, South Washington County Schools Superintendent Julie Nielsen said.
