Weekend Storm Drops 20 Inches Of Snow On Woodbury
The 20 inches of snowfall reported in Woodbury was the second-highest total across Minnesota over the weekend.

WOODBURY, MN — More than a foot and a half of snow fell on parts of Woodbury this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service’s snowfall reports show totals of 20 inches in northeast Woodbury, while about 18 inches fell in southeast Woodbury. The lowest snowfall total recorded in Woodbury over the weekend was 13.6 inches, according to the NWS.

At least 6 inches of snow fell across Washington County, with Stillwater reporting between 6.5 and 9.4 inches of snow. About 15 inches of snow fell in parts of Oakdale, while Cottage Grove and St. Paul Park were blanketed with about 16 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
The 20 inches of snowfall reported in Woodbury was the second-highest total across Minnesota over the weekend. The NWS said 21 inches of snow fell in east St. Paul.

Fire Damages Church In Woodbury; No Injuries Reported
The National Weather Service said the heaviest snowfall was seen in the Twin Cities metro, with the largest totals in the southwest and eastern parts of the region.
The same weather system that dropped more than a foot of snow on much of the Twin Cities region also generated tornadoes and intense thunderstorms in parts of Kentucky, Illinois, Arkansas and other states, the NWS said.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said Monday morning that at least 64 people were killed after at least four tornadoes touched down in the state over the weekend. More than 100 people were still missing Monday, WLKY reports.
