Winter Storm Warning Issued For Friday In Washington County
Forecasters are predicting heavy snow Friday, with up to 12 inches possible in the region.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Washington County on Friday, with heavy snow set to hit the area.
The winter storm warning is set to last from noon Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. Forecasters had previously issued a winter storm watch for Washington County and much of southern Minnesota.
The National Weather Service said much of the region could see 6-8 inches of snow Friday, with some areas receiving up to 12 inches of snowfall.
